2024 SUMMER WOOD BAT LEAGUE

The Summer Wood Bat League is our longest running annual event. It is by far the event our DK staff looks forward to the most every year.  

We enjoy watching the kids really develop their skill sets and baseball IQ!

They make huge strides swinging a heavier bat and getting to play all over the field in multiple positions.

But there is something really great about the Wood Bat League that today's youth sports environment doesn't let them do -- players get to just go to the ballpark and not listen to anyone yell about making an error, they get to argue for a second or two to see who plays what position or make a lineup, hang out with your friends and see  who can hit the ball farthest with their wood bat.

• 4 Monday evenings starting July 15, 2024
• WBL is held at the lighted and beautiful Terryville Plymouth LL,  just off Rt 6
• The focus is PLAYER DEVELOPMENT which includes sound fundamentals, offensive situational play and proper defensive play and positioning.
• The DK Staff will coach the players for the length of the league and will provide bats, balls, helmets, and catchers gear.
• Rosters are limited, so register early
• Registration fee for the 2024 Wood Bat League is $115
